Sustainability strategy & key milestones

Rani Plast is taking important steps to mitigate climate change, and we are committed to climate actions. We consider ourselves to be one of our branch’s leading responsible operators.

Short-Term Targets

Rani is committed to reducing scope 1 and scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 60% for its parent company, Ab Rani Plast Oy, by 2030 (compared to the base year, 2023).
The goal at our subsidiaries, HP Rani Plast and ArtPak, is to eliminate all scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030.
Rani is also committed to actively reducing scope 3 emissions in its operations.

Long-Term Targets

Rani is committed to eliminating the remaining scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions for Ab Rani Plast Oy, and its subsidiary Umaras, by 2035, thus achieving net zero for the entire group.
Rani is committed to reducing and neutralising scope 3 emissions from its operations and value chain, to achieve net zero by 2035.
Rani is also committed to actively reducing scope 3 emissions in its value chain.
