Repel

Our innovative bale wrap film RaniRepel contains a non-toxic, natural active ingredient which, through odour and taste, is repulsive to crows, ravens, rats and mice, but cannot transfer to the baled crop or to the soil.

Bale degradation by rodent and bird attack can ruin silage and fodder and be costly for farmers in terms of lost crops and time required for repairs. Damaged bales lead to mould, crop contamination and bacterial toxicity, which in turn can impact cattle health and milk production. RaniRepel is designed to dramatically reduce these risks.

Our product development department is actively testing the repellent ingredient in other films, without compromising their mechanical properties.
