Rani Plast has decided to invest ever greater resources into the Swedish market. The logistical proximity to Finland, well known practices, and the well-known recognition and reputation already enjoyed by Rani Plast in Sweden create good prerequisites for growth.
“We have been operating in Anderstorp for a long time now, however there is still great potential for growth in the Swedish market. The neighbouring country has larger and more versatile plastics markets than in Finland, so the investments will be worthwhile,” says Dennis Granqvist, Sales Director of Rani Plast.
Rani Plast’s Swedish office has previously employed three people, but as the sales area has grown, Rani Plast will now increase its staff in Sweden. Tobias Andersson (pictured above) has been recruited into the Swedish team lead by Marko Ahonen. Tobias will carry out tasks as an Account Manager.
“Tobias fits well with our well-defined strategic approach that highlights the strong technical background of our sales staff. Tobias has 20 years of experience in the field and has previously worked in the film industry in the development of technical processes,” Granqvist clarifies.
At Rani Plast, Andersson’s responsibilities include, in particular, the sales of films to the construction industry, such as insulation materials and building materials.
“Tobias’ solid know-how concerning the machines used in the production of films, as well as the needs of different customer groups, ensure that he is able to advise customers in choosing the right solutions. This immediately adds value to our services. We are very pleased to gain more excellence in our expanding team, as well as fresh expertise and insights,” Granqvist says.
